Dawn joined the Group in 2017 and has over 16 years’ experience working as a corporate finance advisor to growing businesses. She is a dedicated Portfolio Director for the North West Fund for Venture Capital and the North West Fund for Mezzanine, which have supported entrepreneurs building high-growth businesses in the North West region by providing debt and equity solutions for new and early-stage start-up companies.
Dawn is also a member of the Mercia O2 Committee – offering the benefits of diverse opinions, ideas and points of view.
Previous experience
Dawn is a Chartered Accountant. She trained at Andersen, worked for 10 years as part of Ernst & Young’s corporate restructuring team in London and Manchester, and spent four years locally with Begbies Traynor. She has assisted a wide variety of businesses, restructuring debt and equity to complement growth plans, creating robust financial and cash flow forecasts, and in managing stakeholder interests.
